A wedding photographer is facing a lawsuit after she was asked to take a photo of a Hawaii wedding that she didn´t want to be a part of.
The photographer, who wished to remain anonymous, told Hawaii News Now she was at a reception in Waikiki with her photographer husband when a woman walked in and asked to have her picture taken.
The couple was having a quiet evening at a home in Waiki, when the woman asked for a photo.
She asked to be taken to the wedding but said she had reservations about getting married, according to the lawsuit filed in Honolulu Superior Court.
The wedding photographer said she was shocked and confused by the request, and that she was forced to take the photo in a way that she thought was inappropriate.
When asked why, she said she wanted to be part of the event, which she was not.
The lawsuit alleges the woman threatened to make the photographer leave the event if she didnt agree to the photos.
According to the complaint, the woman said she would leave the wedding and then come back to the home the next day.
When the photographer arrived at the home, she found the woman had already left.
The lawsuit says she told the woman she was leaving because she didn`t want her photos there.
The woman then allegedly came back and took the photographers phone.
The photos were not taken.
The photographer told HawaiiNews Now the woman took them and told her not to bother with them.
She is now suing the couple for $100,000.
The man has not been charged with a crime.
