The Nashville Photographers Association has a lot to be proud of, says president and founder Emily Clements.
She says her organization has become a “major source of pride” for the photographers in the city.
“We are a very, very proud organization and we’re proud of the work that we do,” she said.
“But the other great thing about us is that we don’t have a board.
That means that we have our own set of rules, our own management, and our own governance structure.”
Clements says the photographers have the opportunity to be in control of their image.
“I think what we’re doing is a really wonderful and unique model for photography,” she told the TODAY Show.
“It’s a model that’s a reflection of the values and values of our profession.”
