Many have left the profession for other jobs, and even those who are still in it, have struggled to keep their jobs.
In fact, the unemployment rate for wedding photographers is currently at nearly 14 per cent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The unemployment rate among wedding photographers in Florida has been even higher, with over 10 per cent of those looking for work having been fired or laid off since 2009.
But what can you do if you have a job after your wedding and you have been working as a wedding photographer for some time?
Here are some things you can do if your career is in the news:The most common reasons for losing your job after a wedding:Job-related injury or illnessThe loss of a job can affect your ability to take care of your family, your health and your finances, especially if you are a single parent.
The loss of your job can also cause you to lose your social life, and you could also become a burden on your employer and their insurance.

You may also want to consider taking some time off.
If you have other reasons for leaving the job, it’s best to find a different job.
In Florida, the most common reason for leaving a job is the loss of income.
In the past few years, the Florida Department of Labor and Industries has seen an increase in the number of job losses, Le said.
There are also ways you can prepare yourself for the next time you might need to look for work:Try to find ways to stay active during the job search.
Some experts say it can help to take time off, but not all job-related injuries are life-threatening.
For example, some workers with chronic illnesses like cancer are at risk of being laid off if they have to take leave.
Some employers may have other ways to help people with chronic illness or chronic pain, such as job-based programs or other job-sharing arrangements.
You may also need to consider whether you have the skills to be a good photographer.
Many wedding photographers who are in a position to take the job are already photographers, and many still have training or experience.
But if you’re not ready for the job you were given, you may need to find another job, Le suggested.
If your job-seeking friends or family members are looking for a job, talk with them about your options.
Many people are willing to help you find a job or even get involved if they can.
If you feel like you can’t find a position, it may be time to find work elsewhere.
It’s also important to take a step back and take stock of what you need to do before moving on.
Some advice to consider:Before you move on, ask yourself if you would be better off with a new position.
Are you able to focus on the wedding, or can you focus on your career?
Do you need some extra income to support your family?
Are you willing to accept some responsibility for the future of your photography, or are you just looking for another job?
The job-searching process is a tough one.
The only way to know what you really need to take off is to take your time.
There are so many other things that can go wrong that you may not have time to think about.
To get a better idea of your chances of getting a job during the next recession, look at your career path.
Look at the types of jobs you are likely to be able to find and make sure you are looking at positions that are a good fit for you, Le added.
